Los Angeles, CA – 6/11/2024 – Nimi Adokiye joins an all-star cast including Danny Trejo, Eric Roberts, and Jeff Wittek in the upcoming feature film “Downtown Bus,” a dark comedy that brings a unique twist to the boxing genre.

Downtown Bus: The Synopsis “Downtown Bus” follows the story of two boxers whose fierce match in the 1980s ends with one boxer, Sancho, in a coma. Thirty years later, Sancho wakes up, angry and determined to continue the fight against his former opponent. However, his journey takes an unexpected turn as he is guided towards recovery by Nurse Renuka, played by Nimi Adokiye.

Nimi Adokiye as Nurse Renuka Nurse Renuka is a strong, funny, and extremely likable character who plays a pivotal role in Sancho’s rehabilitation. Through her dedication and compassion, Renuka helps Sancho navigate his anger and frustration, ultimately becoming a great friend and ally in his quest for recovery.
